Gresley FC has agreed a lucrative sponsorship with a Church Gresley car dealer to enable it to bring into use a new set of kit.
Gresley manager Gary Norton sees the return to the squad of Richard Butler who has now completed a two match suspension collected at the end of last season.

Gresley face a tough match tomorrow (Saturday) at the Moat Ground – 3pm as they try to progress in the FA Cup Preliminary Round with local neighbours Quorn their opponents who play in the now re-named Evo-Stik South Division formerly the UniBond League.

Congratulations to first team manager Gary Norton who this summer successfully completed his FA Level 3 (UEFA B) coaching qualifications. Well done Gary from all involved at the club.

Gresley's planned friendly against Pershore Town on Tuesday night has been cancelled.
Another of the players who made a big impression during Gresley FC's first season is back with the club for 2010/2011.
Gresley begin their FA Cup journey with an away trip to Deeping Rangers of the Hereward Teamwear United Counties Premier Division on Saturday 14th August in the Extra Preliminary Round.
The Captain of Gresley FC, Carl Slater, has turned down an offer from Mickleover Sports to stay with the Moatmen for a ninth season.
Gresley FC who returned to prepare for the new season last weekend has received a real boost. Last season’s top scorer has chosen to return and make a commitment to the club.

Elvis Gresley the mascot of Gresley FC has a new sponsor. Jon Paul Burnton of Jon Paul menswear has agreed to become shirt sponsor of the popular mascot for the next couple of seasons, up to the end of the 2011/12 season.
Gresley FC are pleased to announce some changes to the management line up for the 2010-2011 season which involve the first and reserve team. Martyn Rowntree is stepping up from reserve team manager to replace Simon Van-de-Broucke as first team coach whilst former Stapenhill manager Justin Goodchild has been appointed as reserve team manager.
The Gresley Reserve Team management are holding two trial evenings at the Shobnall Leisure Complex, Burton on Trent on the 22nd and 24th of June 7pm start for all local players who may wish to join the Reserve Team for the new season.
The Gresley FC squad for the coming season has been boosted by several more of last season’s team putting pen to paper to remain at the club.

Royce Turville made an almost clean sweep of the First Team awards in front of a packed Social Club.
