Manager Marc Strzyzewski is delighted to have extended the work experience loans of the Burton Albion trio Cameron Gilbert, Charlie Knowles and Connor Pace until the end of the season. The rules however only allow us to involve 2 players in a match day squad at any one time and so the manager will judge each game on its own merit before making his selections. The decision has been made easy for this weekend as Cameron Gilbert is out with a shin splints injury.

The squad is boosted by the registrations of full back Harley Kozluk and midfielder James Matthews. In addition, Omreiki Myles is included in the squad for the first time this weekend after impressing in training and during his dual registration spell at Hucknall Town.

Unfortunately, forward Jenson Cooper has picked up a foot injury during the break and is about a week away and the same goes for another new signing Ben Price. Ben is an exciting young defender who joins us from Uttoxeter town where he has been in great form this season.

Utility player Chris Jones continues to miss out with an abdominal issue that has kept him out of action much longer than expected. He is due to see a specialist next week.

In other news midfielder Josh Waldram has left the club to join promotion chasing Northern Counties East League division one outfit Shirebrook Town after receiving an offer he couldn’t refuse whilst forward Ainsley Finney has also left the club having found the travelling from his Rotherham based home an issue.
