Pre-Match Squad News - Quorn
Gresley Rovers manager Marc Strzyzewski is again without the services of utility player Chris Jones for the visit of Quorn to the Moat Ground (Saturday 3pm kick off). Jones has been out for the last month with an abdominal issue whilst forward Richard Hanslow will also miss out with a groin strain. Tolani Omotola may return to the squad following a hamstring injury.

Connor Pace who joined from Burton Albion on a work experience loan last week and impressed with a man of the match performance looks set to continue in midfield but the club are waiting on news to confirm if full back Cameron Gilbert or fellow midfielder Charlie Knowles will be available following the expiry of their original work experience loans last week with the club seeking to renew the deal with Burton for a further period. The talks are complicated by the fact that an FA ruling that whilst any club can have 3 work experienced loanees registered, only two maximum can play in a fixture at any one time and at this time it remains to be seen which of the two, if any will feature in the squad.

7th placed Quorn parted company on Thursday with manager Richard Lavery and assistant Tom Cherry after the pair tendered their resignations which Quorn reluctantly accepted. As a result of the managerial change Quorn will be led by player coach Ant Carney and coach Matt Green. Former Moat Ground favourite Jordi Gough could feature for Quorn having spent the season to date at the Farley Way outfit.

The Moatmen remain in the relegation places of the Northern Premier League Midland Division having played more games than sides around them and so the pressure for points increases as each week goes by for Srzyzewski's side which should make for an interesting game.
