Forth placed Dynamo will provide another stern test for Marc Strzyzewski’s squad following back-to-back 4-0 away defeats to the league’s two leading sides in Harborough Town and Spalding United respectively.

Rovers are in dire need of a much-needed win having dropped into the relegation zone after last weekend’s results due to Rugby Town picking up three points of their own against Cambridge City - who are also one of the sides down at the wrong end of the table. Bottom side AFC Rushden & Diamonds are also breathing down the necks of the sides above them and are only 3 points behind Gresley with a much better goal difference having picked up a staggering 11 points from their last 5 games since Rovers beat them 3-0 back on 6th Jan having only picked up 4 points in their previous 21 games.

Strzyzewski has been busy this week adding to his squad following the signings of strikers Jenson Cooper and Ainsley Finney and midfielder Omreiki Myles last week. Incoming this week is defender Will Grewal-Pollard who joins Rovers from Alfreton Town.

Grewal-Pollard can play at both centre-back and left-back and was with Derby County where he worked his way through the ranks making over 50 appearances at both Under-18 and Under-21 level.

Also coming in is another Burton Albion scholar in midfielder Connor Pace who is described as a talented and exciting prospect. Both new additions will go straight into the squad.

Dylan Hunniford has recovered from the shin splint injury that kept him out of the squad last weekend but unfortunately the abdominal injury Chris Jones sustained is worse than first feared and he will be out longer than anticipated.

Forward Tolani Omotola who limped off with a hamstring injury against Harborough Town is not included and Omreiki Myles who has yet to make his debut for the club will get minutes with Hucknall Town where he is dual registered.

Given the wet weather this week. an 11am pitch inspection has been arranged and the club are hopeful that the game is given the go ahead.
