Rovers rocked
Story courtesy of Burton Mail
Double-chasing Gresley Rovers are fighting to get players fit for Wednesday’s opening leg of their Derbyshire Senior Cup final against Matlock Town (7.30pm).
Striker Kieron Smith seems a certain non-starter for the Causeway Lane clash after damaging a knee in Saturday’s Banks’s League clash at Oldbury.

Smith was a virtual passenger in the second half, Gresley having already replaced injured pair Dean Page and Steve Adcock.

A goalless draw took Rovers back to the top of the table at the expense of Rocester, who were beaten at Blakenhall.
