Goal ace Brian Beresford returns to the Gresley Rovers first team squad tonight after a ten-week enforced absence.
A knee injury has kept free scoring Beresford out of action but he is named in a 14-man squad for tonight’s clash with Malvern at the Moat Ground (7.45pm).

Michael Guest however is fighting a losing battle to be fit for the important Banks’s League game. He is named in Frank Northwood’s squad but a groin injury makes him a likely candidate to miss the action.

With Kieron Smith unavailable Andy Maddocks will have a continuing chance to establish himself as a first team regular.

He has scored two goals in his last two outings and hopes to recapture that form tonight.
