Funday Legends Game
As part of what we hope will be our last ever season at the Moat Ground (subject to final planning approvals) we are planning a number of events to mark this milestone and hopeful end of an era at the historic Ground that has been the clubs home for the last 113 seasons.
One of these events is our which will take place on Sunday 25th September at the Moat Ground, 1pm Kick off. We have a wide range of ex Gresley Rovers and Gresley FC legends lined up going right back to some of our famous 1991 Wembley FA Vase final team and the 1997 Dr Martins Southern League winning side together with the more recent members of the back to back title winning teams from 2010/11 and 2011/12 seasons.
Doors Open at 11.30am and there will be plenty of other things going on during the days event so please come and support the day, your local club and our charity partner for the event MIND (Mental Health Charity)
For the kids we will have Elvis Gresley in attendance who will be joined by Sonic the Hedgehog and a guest from Paw Patrol with plenty of opportunity for photos. The social club bar will be open from 11.30am and we will also have our outside Madri Bar serving on the day. There will also be a host of other things including, music, cake stall, food bar, raffle, name the bear, tombola and other a number of other things for everyone to get involved with.
