Our Juniors U12s met a plucky Marlborough Rovers last night in a game that effectively decided the outcome of the League.
Final score Gresley 10 v 0 Marlborough Rovers.

With still one fixture remaining, our U12s have taken the League title in their first season!

The goal of the game came from Marcus Fletcher with a bold strike from the right that left the able keeper with no chance.

Thanks to the very able Referee, Richard Waldrun, and the Marlborough lads who kept on going against the odds. A game with no fouls given against either side and played in a true Juniors spirit, a credit to both sides.

At the end of the game champagne was flowing and spraying everywhere!

Well done to you all!

Phil Hodge,
A Very Proud Director of Junior Football.
