King to go under knife
Rovers striker Dave King will miss the rest of the season after is was revealed he must undergo a cartilage operation.
King, who had formed a potent strike partnership with Kevin Allsop, picked up the injury in the Moatmen's 4-3 victory over Bromsgrove Rovers, but it has turned out to be more serious than at first thought.

As a result, youngster Mick Sandar looks set to start along side Allsop when Gresley entertain Dr Martens Western Division leaders Stafford Rangers.

Defender Matt Warren is a major doubt after picking up a hamstring injury in last week's 1-0 defeat at Blakenall but Alex Wake has recovered from an ankle knock collected in the same game, and he will be looking to build on his impressive debut.

Dave Kearns, unavailable last week, returns to the squad.
Boss Brian Kenning is hoping for a bumper Moat Ground crowd and the prospect of facing the league leaders will provide enough inspiration for his side to create an upset.

"Tomorrow it is something to look forward to," said Kenning. "They are un beaten in 20 games so they are due to get beaten, and we are quite capable of doing it. We will probably have our biggest crowd of the season and it will be another little test for us. When we lost at their place 3-2 earlier in the season their manager was under pressure, but since they are unbeatable and we have got to believe in ourselves and have a go".

Meanwhile, striker Neil Kitching, out since the beginning of February after suffering a broken leg at Tiverton, has been told his leg must remain in plaster for another eight weeks and could be struggling to be fit for the start of next season.
