Richard Wardle

Richard Wardle has pledged his future to Gresley Rovers.
Wardle, who last season beat the Gresley Rovers appearance record of 568 set by Gresley legend Barry Fitchett has re-signed for his 13th successive season at the Moat Ground.

Chairman Mark Evans said: "I am delighted Richard is staying with the club. His enthusiasm and experience is of huge importance in a young and developing side."

As of yet the only member of last years squad to have left the club is midfielder Mark Peters who has joined Sutton Coldfield Town.
