Gresley players get more bottle thanks to midlands Co-op dairies.
Gresley Rovers will be swapping their half-time oranges for a glass of milk, thanks to a new deal with Midlands Co-op Dairies.

Gresley Rovers is being supplied with 12 litres of free milk by Midlands Co-op Dairies, every week for the next 12 months.

Kate Fuller, Assistant Marketing Manager for Midlands Co-op Dairies, explained: "On a national level, the Dairy Industry has teamed up with the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) to make milk the drink of the professional footballer - further promoting the link between a healthy diet and regular exercise.

"So the partnership with Gresley Rovers is a natural progression of this and it fits in really well with Midlands Co-op's philosophy of supporting its local community."

Mark Evans, Gresley Rovers Club Chairman, added: "This is a fantastic deal for us because it means that the players are guaranteed a healthy drink every time they train and play. And it is a long-term commitment to our players' fitness."

Midlands Co-op Dairies is the largest regional dairy operator in the UK, supplying a wide range of milk products and other foods to thousands of customers each day. From cafés to cash and carries, retail chains to forecourt shops to hospitals, Midlands Co-op Dairies delivers more than 41/2 million litres of milk each week, which is sourced from 285 local farms across the Midlands.
