Gresley Rovers travel to Corby Town tomorrow for the last match of what has been an eventful and challenging season.
Given the current situation in the table going into the last round of matches the Moatmen are pretty much certain to be confirmed as relegated to step 5 at the end of the game with AFC Rushden & Diamonds and Rugby Town in the tightest of battles to avoid joining Rovers in dropping out of the Northern Premier League Midland Division.

Josh Eggington and John King return to the squad for Gresley having missed the last couple of games but Dylan Hunniford, having impressed immensely in the latter part of the season, is suspended following his sending off in the 2-0 defeat to Shepshed Dynamo a week last Tuesday.
Burton Albion work experience loanee Charlie Knowles is unavailable following his recall to take part in an exit trials game following Burton’s decision not to offer him a professional contract moving forwards.

Gresley Rovers go into their final home game of the campaign against Lye Town desperate for a win to give them a slim chance of avoiding relegation. Lye Town need the points themselves for their playoff drive and so we should be in for an exciting afternoon at the Moat Ground 3pm kick off.
