R C Warwick pre-match news
Both Ian Bluck and Richard Wardle, substituted during Tuesday’s Derbyshire Senior Cup win over Buxton due to injury, are both fit and available for tomorrow’s trip to Warwick.
Neil Kitching missed the midweek game and training because of illness. However, he is back at work and should also be named in the squad.

Manager Jon Newsome has told his players not to get too uptight about not having won a league match for a month.

Newsome said:"Sometimes you go on a difficult run and you get stuck in a rut. I've told the lads they can do one of two things - either feel sorry for yourself and hope you don't make a mistake or go out onto the field in a positive frame of mind and take responsibility.

"As a player, you can't worry about making mistakes during a game because it's going to happen - all players make mistakes at some time. If you are not careful, thinking like that will cripple you so you need to be positive.

“We scored a few in the cup game midweek which should help our confidence. We must take what we did in that game and put it into a league game.

“Confidence is a big factor in football, a much under-valued factor, and the only way to get confidence is by winning games.

“It won’t be an easy game on Saturday because Warwick are on a bit of a poor run. They’ve only won one game this season so we’ve got to make sure it doesn’t come to an end against us.”
