Peters stays at the Moat Ground
Mark Peters

Mark Peters

Midfielder Mark Peters has turned down a “tremendous” offer to remain at Gresley Rovers.
Gresley chairman Mark Evans said: “I’m delighted he as agreed to stay. It says a lot about this club. He feels he wants to stay at Gresley and that’s good enough for me. It’s all you can hope for with those players who are not on contracts.

Mark as never been at a club for so long and he has many friends at Gresley. He was made a tremendous offer and has turned down an increase in wages and probably the chance to move higher up the league.”

Peters decision could mean an interesting time as he is included in the squad as they visit the team he has just rejected.
