Caretaker manager Alan Titterton will remain in charge for tomorrow's home clash with Redditch United (3pm), where midfielder Mark Dennis is set for his first start in Rovers colours after his move from Burton Albion as the Moat boss looks to add some extra "bite" into his side.
Rovers face a tough task as they look to bounce back from a poor Christmas as they tackle fifth placed Redditch tomorrow, then travel to Atherstone United on New Year's Day.

But Titterton is hoping the inclusion of Dennis will provide extra strength in midfield, as he looks set to revert to playing two up front.

Titterton was disappointed with the 2-1 home defeat by Rocester on Boxing Day, when he played Simon Tucker, Kevin Allsop and Justin O'Reilly in attack, especially after they had battled back from 2-0 down to earn a draw at Racing Club Warwick.

Now Rovers' caretaker boss has urged his side to make amends in the next four days, although he knows they face two difficult games.

Said Titterton: 2 Dennis will start tomorrow, as I want him to add a bit of bite in our midfield.

"Mark Peters gives us a bit of bite but he has a suspension coming up and I want to see if Dennis can get the job done. I am definitely looking for six points from the next two games, but looking at it on paper, if we get a win and a draw it would be a good weekend."

Titterton is without Steve Devine (unavailable) and injured duo Matt Warren (back) and O'Reilly (twisted ankle).

"I think I will change things around anyway after what was one of our worst displays of the season on Tuesday," said Titterton.

Gresley reserve's game at Ilkeston Town tomorrow has been called off because of the weather.

Striker Neil Kitching had been pencilled in for his first outing since breaking his leg 10 months ago, as had defender Carl Middleton.
