FA Umbro Trophy

Gresley Rovers' reward for beating North Ferriby in the second round is an unattractive but eminently winnable visit to UniBond Division One strugglers Congleton Town.
The Cheshire outfit are anchored to the foot of the table after losing 11 of their 16 league games, but made it through to the third round by beating Dr Martens Eastern Division high-fliers Stamford 3-1.

"I'm not sure whether we'll be able to have them watched before the tie," said Rovers' caretaker boss Alan Titterton, "but I've done a little bit of homework-they've played 16 but only won four with 18 goals for and 38 against.

"But Matlock Town are third from bottom of that division and they've already beaten us so we mustn't go under-estimating anyone.

"That said, it's a great chance for the club to progress in the Trophy."
