Weston pre-match news
Jon Newsome has said his side is down to bare bones and will have to change things around for his sides visit to third placed Weston-Super-Mare tomorrow (Sat) 3.00pm.
Defender Owen James and striker Chris White are both out with ankle injuries along with Ian Bluck who is suspended.

Both Barry Woolley and Andy Cheetham are suffering back injuries but both are expected to be available.

Mark Peters is still suffering knee problems but he too should be fit for the game.

Newsome is expecting his side to go out on a high despite the injuries and said; “We have a good bunch of lads here and they will get their heads round it and it should be a good game.

“I’m always a bit wary about games where it is deemed there is not a lot to play for. I think to use injuries, the long trip or the fact that it is the final game as an excuse is a little unprofessional.

“We could do with a result and as long as we don’t get beat we will finish in fifth place, which would be nice for the players.

“We will go there in a positive frame of mind but the players should also enjoy it, get a result and then they can have a nice summer.”
