Buxton next in cup for Rovers
Story courtesy of Burton Mail
Gresley Rovers have been drawn at home to Northern Premier Leaguers Buxton in the semi-final of the Derbyshire Senior Cup.
Buxton are the current holders, but Rovers will be confident of an upset when the money-spinning tie is played at the Moat Ground.

And they will be hoping to avenge a 6-3 extra-time defeat at Silverlands in the same competition two years ago after a goaless draw at the Moat Ground.

In the other semi-final, Borrowash Victoria or Glossop will have home advantage against Alfreton Town.

Rovers, meanwhile are still waiting to learn who their opponents will be at the Moat Ground in the fifth round of the FA Vase.

Saturday’s fourth round replay between Emley and Bridgnorth Town was postponed because of snow. Another attempt will be made to stage the game on Thursday night.

Rovers, who made arrangements to travel north on a weekend spying mission, will be at home to the winners.
