Rovers recall for Brian
Story courtesy of Burton Mail
Striker Brian Beresford is standing by for a dramatic recall to Gresley Rovers’ side for tomorrow’s FA Vase second round clash with Mile Oak Rovers at the Moat Ground (3pm).
Beresford, sidelined for three months by a serious eye injury, is included in a 14-man squad only a week after beginning his comeback with the reserves.

Midfieldman Steve Daley is also set to return to Frank Northwood’s side after shaking off an ankle injury which forced him to miss the midweek Banks’s League Cup win at Hinckley.

And goalkeeper Karl Austin returns to the first team fold in place of cup-tied Bob Aston.
