Supporters' Cub Important Notice
Gresley FC and Gresley FC Supporters' Club are delighted to announce that the Supporters' Club have taken a 25% share in the club, formerly owned by Mark Harrison.
Supporters' Club communications officer and treasurer Ian Lummis said, "Twelve months ago we spoke with Mark and Gary as the Barry North era came to a conclusion and decided that going forward we needed to formulate a plan where we could offer as much transparency that many claimed was lacking and give the reason we have a club, and also to give the great Gresley FC fans a real say in the way the club is being run. We now have a direct line to the board where our paying members can raise points they want discussing at board level with honest and open dialogue which allows us to grow as a club. We now have a good foundation of community sides, a hugely successful Reserve team run by Todd Foster & Rich Jarvis for the last 3 seasons but in order to succeed and prosper we need to take steps forward.

"Engaging our fans is a great way to give them a chance to help shape the future of the club. We welcome all dialogue and thank Mark Alflat & Gary Brockway for this very generous donation to the fans of Gresley FC.

"Going forward we will look to raise funds for the club independently of the Commercial team and make an annual donation to the coffers. But, this will not be factored into any budget predictions for the club annually, but rather seen as a gift that can help towards the running of areas of the club, from the groundsmen and upkeep of facilities to the community sides and much more.

Each year 25% of monies taken in memberships will be donated to the club, as recognition for our 25% stake in the club, but in the interests of fairness access to using the Supporters Club to liaise with the board will be limited to members only, so please help us going forward by renewing or joining us and helping towards a brighter future. Whichever league we are playing in next season, the club can only succeed with the fans and going forward that will not change."
