Keeper Signs In
Gresley FC can confirm that the club has signed goalkeeper Liam Roberts on loan from Walsall and is registered with the Evo-Stik NPL making him eligible to be included in the squad for tomorrow's game against Loughborough Dynamo.
Liam has experience at this level playing earlier in the season with Rainworth MW.

"It's an advantage that I know the level I'm going into having played in this League earlier in the season," said Roberts. "Whereas on that occasion I joined a club who were struggling and looking to move away from the foot of the table, this time I'm joining a club in the top half who are looking to really push on. I've already played at Gresley for Rainworth, so I know the set-up is good and they have a decent fan base at this level.

"It's important now that I start to get regular game time. I feel that I'm training as well as I have ever done and can only learn from Cutts [Neil Cutler] and OD [Richard O'Donnell].

"They are both keen to help and pass on their knowledge and have really helped bring my game on to the next level. As I say, I need to be working towards a match at the end of the week now.

"This move offers me the chance to play regularly between now and the end of the season and really show the Gaffer what I am capable of."
