Tividale Pre-Match News
Gresley take a break from their league programme to enter the first stage of the FA Trophy when their opponents Tividale visit the Moat Ground tomorrow - 3pm.
Caretaker manager Wayne Thornhill is expecting a tough game from the visitors. Thornhill says; "I enjoy cup games because you get a much better atmosphere and an intensity which you don't get in the league."We are looking forward to it and only have two absentees in Callum Riddell who is recovery from a broken wrist and John Guy who is still at least a couple of weeks way after suffering a knee injury."
Gresley last played Tividale in their Midland Alliance days winning a close encounter at the Moat on a cold and wet mid December day.
