Chasetown Pre-Match News
Gresley begin their new league campaign with a difficult trip to Chasetown tomorrow (3pm).
Manager Martin Rowe says: "We're looking forward to tomorrow, and we just want to get going on what we want to do this year, and try to enjoy our football at the same time.

"We need to be ruthless in front of goal, and if we do that and take our chances when they come along.

"Chasetown are always a difficult team to play. Last year was a very tight game up at their place but we beat them comfortably at home. Their pitch should be in very good condition and as long as the grass isn't too long, we'll be able to pass the ball around - and if we can do that, I fancy us to do well. We won't go out all guns blazing though, we'll just see our way into the game."

Rowe is hoping Brad Wells will continue with the form he's shown in pre-season scoring six goals in seven games.

Mitch Hanson is in the squad after missing several pre-season games due to what was suspected as glandular fever. However, thankfully it wasn't and Mitch has been back training.
Sam Grice (knee) is also back in training and could be given a brief loan spell to get match fit. Young striker Callum Riddell is on holiday.

Gresley from: Turner, Townsend, Johns, Hanson, Barrett, Guy, Harrison, Graves, Roome, Langston, Wells, Ritchie-Smith, Mulonga, O'Connell, Steadman, Smyth.
