Trafford FC Pre-Match News
Gresley are hoping to take another Evo-Stik Premier scalp as they take on Trafford at the Moat Ground on Saturday - 3pm kick off.
After a good home performance saw off Ilkeston in the previous round manager Martin Rowe knows that his side are still regarded as underdogs for this FA Carlsberg Trophy Second Round Qualifying.

Trafford have not had the best of starts in the top division after claiming promotion last year and will be looking to put their last result, a five-nil home mauling by Chorley, behind them.

In contrast Gresley put in their best performance of the season on Monday as they crushed Chasetown at the Moat Ground and Rowe will be hoping that form continues. "We're looking forward to it," said Rowe. "We'll play with freedom because we've got nothing to lose. We will go out and enjoy ourselves. All the pressure is on them. The supporters are fully behind us and, hopefully, we can give them another victory to cheer. We know it will be difficult but the lads are picking up a lot of confidence at the moment."

Rowe will need to make changes to his winning side as new signing Jack Langston who has impressed in midfield over the past couple of games, is cup-tied tomorrow, having already played in the competition for Stafford Rangers. Defender Liam Guest and midfielder Mickey Lyons are also unavailable, while winger Marc Goodfellow (leg) is an injury doubt. However, Mitch Hanson should be fit to return, though, following a hamstring problem.
