Steve Titterton Leaves The Moat
Steve Titterton

Steve Titterton

By now, most of you will have heard that I've left the club to take up the manager's position at Stapenhill.
I've done so with very mixed feelings as I have loved my time at Gresley and made so many friends from the management to the supporters.

I felt it was the right time to take the step to be manager at a club but feel sad at having to leave such a great club as Gresley. After three seasons as coach/assistant I felt I wanted to have a go at being a manager. Although I feel the timing is not perfect, I didn't want to miss this opportunity.

You have all been fantastic to work over the last few years at this fantastic club.

I'd like to thank Martin Rowe for all his help and support not just over the past few days but for the time we've worked together at Gresley. I'd also like to thank Gary Norton who brought me to the club in the first place. His help and friendship has been fantastic and hope it continues.

The support and guidance of the chairman Barry North has been much appreciated by me and I'd like to thank him for his support while I've been at the club.

I'd also like to thank all you supporters. Your support for the team and management especially over the last five years has been immense and something I'll miss. Yes, we've had some testing times but we've had a lot of great times and I'm sure there will be many more great times to come for Gresley and I hope Stapenhill!

I look forward to seeing you all again.

Steve
