Jepson Back At The Moat
James Jepson

James Jepson

James Jepson is the latest recruit to join Gresley for their second season in the Evo-Stik NPL Division One South.
Midfielder Jepson joined the Moatmen from Hucknall Town in October 2011 and was part of the Midland Alliance title winning side.

In February 2013 Jepson left to join eventual league winners Kings Lynn but has decided to return to Gresley for the forthcoming campaign.

In May he underwent a double hernia and abductor repair but is confident he will be fit and raring to go mid/late July.

Speaking to the club website Jepson says: "It's good to be back, when Martin contacted me to say he had the job it was a no brainer to return to the Moat regardless of the offers I received.

"It's safe to say last season is a lesson to all players that switching clubs when you're happy can be the wrong decision.

"I am man enough to say I made a mistake when I signed for Lynn and hope to help Gresley FC achieve our goals for the coming season."
