Hucknall Pre-Match News
Gresley visit bottom side Hucknall Town tomorrow (3pm), looking for a win to close the gap on the top three.
Due to Tuesday's game against Romulus postponed due to a waterlogged pitch and a training session also cancelled could have done his side good.

"Possibly, when you look at the form and consistency of the players, it seems that the number of games could be making a difference," said joint manager Gary Norton.

"One or two players playing on a Saturday will then struggle on a Tuesday. Maybe some can't quite manage to maintain their form for two games in a week. Maybe we need to rotate the squad a bit more."

Norton and fellow manager Martin Rowe have a decision to make as to who takes the number one shirt. Regular keeper Gary Hateley has been in the Far East on work commitments and Reserve Team keeper George Woodward has been in fine form. "It's a big decision and we'll have to thrash it out," said Norton.

Michael Nottingham could return from his dead-leg, while fellow centre-half Ryan Walker has signed for the Moatmen full-time from Thurnby Nirvana after impressing in the 2-1 win over Northwich Victoria.

Danny Holmes should be available, but Royce Turville will be missing.

Gresley from: Hateley, Woodward, Barrett, Nottingham, Strzyzewski, Walker, Gough, Lyons, Holmes, Jepson, Spencer, Goodfellow, Massingham, Nadat, Hanslow, A Betteridge, Langford, Bryant, Woods.
