Heather Pre-Match News
Stefan Marshall will definitely miss out in Saturdays FA Cup Extra Preliminary tie against Heather St John's to allow time for his hamstring problem to fully clear up.
Marshall passed a fitness test for Tuesday's game against Radford and took part in the full warm up but suffered a slight reaction afterwards prompting manager Gary Norton to give him another week's rest to resolve the problem.

Meanwhile Tom Betteridge and Royce Turville are both rated at "50/50" and will need fitness tests before the game to see if they will be fit to be involved.

Both players limped out of the action against Radford with thigh (Turville) and hamstring (Betteridge) problems.

Jamie Barrett should be passed to play despite having treatment this week on a thigh problem.

Gresley will definitely be without defender Gareth Langford for the game as he is away on holiday.

Jordi Gough (back) is reported to be quite near to being fit after resuming light training this week but the cricketing duo of Paul Edwards and John Shales continue to be unavailable.

Rob Spencer will also be missing whilst he recovers from a broken toe.

Reserve team coach Andy Dunn is drafted into the squad and defender Lee Stretton could also feature but Norton will decide late on whether to call the youngster into action.

Michael Lonergan is also on standby after being registered with the club last week.

Gresley from: Baldwin, Davies, A Betteridge, Barrett, Slater, Lyons, Hill, Woodall, Turville, T Betteridge, Elliott, Mawbey, Keenan, Dunn, Stretton.
