Willenhall Pre-Match News
Highly rated young midfielder Callum Keenan has joined Gresley Rovers ahead of the weekend trip to Willenhall Town.
The 18-year-old Stapenhill based youngster has been training and playing occasional midweek Reserve games for Burton Albion. Manager Gary Norton explained: "I have spoken to Roy MacFarland about Callum and as he is non contract he is allowing him to register and play for us but he will also remain registered with Burton.

"We have been tracking Callum for some time in the hope of being able to bring him in and we were invited to watch him play for Burton against Tamworth just before Christmas but the game was postponed.

"He has been playing on Saturdays with Willington FC and Steve Titterton (Willington's manager) speaks very, very highly indeed of him. He trained with us last night and will go into the squad for this weekend's game.

In other team news Carl Timms should be fit after midweek concerns over a knee injury whilst Norton will review Jordi Gough's chances of being involved on Saturday morning after seeing how the youngsters groin injury shapes up.

Kevin Lock will miss the game due to a knee injury. Said Norton: "Kev Lock is definitely out and he is trying to get a scan on the knee he injured at Stamford, which may need a small operation.
