Help raise funds for your team
As you will be aware, the financial position of the club is a delicate one at the moment and is currently one of the main areas of focus for the club's new board of Directors.
However, it is recognised that supporters want to see the club try to prosper both on and off the pitch in the coming season so rather than stand still we are looking for ways to bring in some additional funds to improve our chances of a successful season on the pitch.

Funds raised through a number of means will go directly towards supporting the playing budget to better enable the club to compete with others in the UniBond Division One South.

There are a number of ways you can get involved this season:

Sponsor a goal - as the name suggests, this scheme involves participants sponsoring each First team goal scored in competitive games during the coming season. How will it work? Participants in the scheme would sponsor each First team goal scored in league or cup games to the tune of 50p, £1 per goal or more if you so wish.

At the end of each month goals scored in that month will be totalled and monies would be collected from participants. For example, if the First team score 6 league goals and 2 cup goals in the month the amount payable would be £4 if you sponsored 50p per goal or £8 if you sponsored £1 per goal etc.

Clean Sheet Club - again, the clues in the name. Participants can sponsor each clean sheet that the First team keep in competitive games and at the end of each month the number of clean sheets (if any!) will be multiplied by the amount sponsored and collected.

Flash a Fiver Club - If you would prefer a more predictable way to help the club then you could get involved with this scheme. Join the "flash a fiver" club and help push your club forward. This scheme involves donating a minimum of £5 per month to the club although any amount above this would obviously be welcomed.

All money raised in the coming season on the above scheme will go towards supporting the First team playing budget. Anyone getting involved in any of the new schemes will receive acknowledgement in the club's match day programme and on the club's official website.

Look out for whom you need to contact and how you can get involved with these initiatives during the upcoming friendly games.
