Defender Leigh Platnauer was re-called by Hinckley United on Monday but did not name him in the squad against Vauxhall Motors.
Platnauer was to meet with Dean Thomas last night (Thursday) to try and sort things out as the defender would prefer to stay at the Moat Ground rather than return to the Marston Stadium and not play for the Knitters.Nicky Carter has served his four game ban but looks unlikely to take a place in the squad and could feature for the Reserves.
Paul Edwards played and scored for the Reserves in a midweek match but is also likely to play for them again as he continues to regain his match fitness after recovering from a fractured foot.
Midfielder Jordan Lambert suffered a knee knock against Colwyn Bay but is expected to make the squad.
