Evesham Pre-match News
Gresley Rovers manager has been dealt a blow before the FA Cup Preliminary Round game against Evesham on Sunday.
Recently signed striker David Blenkinsopp has suffered a back injury that will keep him out of the side for at least three weeks.

Blenkinsopp had scored a hat-trick for the reserves and looked certain to start the game against Evesham. Unfortunately, the striker has opened up a joint in his spine causing muscle spasms.

Another striker to miss Sunday's game is Paul Edwards. Edwards damaged an elbow playing cricket and it was made worse on Monday at Nantwich. An examination by a specialist has discovered he has dislocated his elbow keeping him out for three to four weeks.

Liam Shirley is another injury causality aggravating a foot injury against Nantwich. Still missing are Carl Slater (knee), Andy Simpson (groin), Tom Betteridge (hamstring), Adam Henchcliffe (knee) and Lee Kinzett (knee).

However, both Chris Mawbey and Morgan Hurley, who scored four goals for the reserves last weekend, are fit to be included in the squad.

Gresley from: Clarke, Douglas, Mawbey, Barradell, Hood, Rowntree, Ridgway, Groves, Sleath, Wayte, Brown, Payne, Carter, Farmer, Thorley, Hurley.
