Edwards Signs
Paul Edwards

Paul Edwards

Striker Paul Edwards has signed and manager Gary Norton hopes he can become his 20-goal front man.
Norton said: "We have agreed terms with Paul and I am very pleased.

"Last season was disappointing in terms of the number of goals he scored and some of his performances, but we know there is more to come from him. Paul says he wants to have a good season.

"Players of his ability don't come along too often at this level and he has shown great loyalty to the club, both last season and having agreed to reduced terms for this season.

"Everyone connected with the club knows what a good player he is and he is capable of scoring 20-plus goals a season.

"He hit 13 last year, but got 20 the season before last and I am confident in his ability."
