Matlock pre-match news
Gresley Rovers and Matlock Town will attempt to play the second round of the UniBond League Cup tomorrow at the Geoquip Stadium.
Should the Town pitch be unplayable the tie will be switched to Belper's Christchurch Meadow ground.

If the Belper pitch is also unfit the tie will be played on Tuesday 13th at Matlock with Rovers' away tie at Kidsgrove postponed.

With the snow and the predicted rain/sleet for the weekend it would be advisable to check this website to see if the tie is on or has been moved!

Manager Gary Norton has decided to try a different formation wherever or whenever this tie is played.

Alongside skipper Colin Hoyle and Barry Woolley, Matt Millns will be recalled into a back three.

Karl Brown and Andy Simpson could also be starting midfield.

Striker Liam Hebberd will be missing for Rovers next game having picked up his fifth booking of the season in the 1-1 Moat Ground draw with Bridlington Town.

Ravi Sangha, who scored the injury-time equaliser against Bridlington after coming on as a substitute, will have a chance to partner Paul Edwards up front.

Gresley from: Whittle, Douglas, Carter, Millns, Woolley, Hoyle, Slater, Ridgway, Simpson, Brown, Edwards, Sangha, Groves, Smith.
