Gary Norton & Gary White

Gresley Rovers received a massive boost on the eve of pre season training with the news that Gary White had rejected a move to Sutton Coldfield Town to stay at the Moat Ground for another season.
White, 22 next month joined the club at the start of the 2002-03 season after his release from Stoke City and quickly established himself in the side as one of the club's top players and will now be in his fourth season with the club and their current longest serving player.

On keeping White at the Club for another term Rovers manager Gary Norton said: "Gary agreeing to stay is another major piece in the jigsaw and a big boost to our plans for next season. He's been talking with Sutton for a few weeks but thankfully he's decided to stay with us. He has proven over recent seasons that he's one of the best left backs at this level and we are all delighted he has agreed to stay with us for another term."
