Kendal pre-match news
Gary Norton

Gary Norton

Gresley manager Gary Norton celebrates his 100th game in charge against Kendal Town this afternoon.
However, the some of the gloss has been taken off with his side having defensive worries ahead of the game.

Jamie Hood is suffering a knee injury that will require surgery in the not too distant future and with playing in the midweek draw at Eastwood Town the young defender is a doubt for today's game.

Skipper Matt Smith suffered a reaction to an ankle injury after coming on as a sub at Coronation Park and will be going for an x-ray to check out the problem.

Andy Simpson, who has covered the defensive position when needed, is still a couple of weeks away from playing and Paul Wardle is unavailable for the two Easter games.

Niall Hudson could be dropped back to play alongside Steve Farmer and Gary White or Ashley Dodd could cover as a central defender.

Liam Hebberd and Emeka Ejiofor are both in the squad but Chris White is out still suffering a reaction from a knee injury.

Gresley from: Belford, Hudson, Farmer, Hood, G White, Tate, Marlowe, Barrett, Lyons, Dodd, Gray, Edwards, O'Connor, Ejiofor, Hebberd, Smith.
