Henkel Consumer Adhesives, makers of UniBond DIY products, have agreed to extend their sponsorship of the UniBond League for a further two years - making the company one of football's longest running supporters.
"Since its commencement in 1994, the League and its 44 member clubs have always been proud of their association with UniBond." said League chairman, Peter Maude, at the signing ceremony at Henkel's UK production plant in Winsford, Cheshire.

"The duration of our sponsorship agreement truly reflects the determined commitment made by Henkel, the League and its member clubs over the past 11 years to successfully develop the partnership to the mutual benefit of all parties."

According to Peter Maude: "UniBond's injection of well over 1 million into the game over the years has provided a tremendous boost to the 'family of football' and its many supporters at a time of significant change in the game at semi-professional level."

Henkel's UK presence has always been strongly rooted in the North where many of the UniBond products are made. In addition to its award-winning factory in Winsford, a major new distribution centre has recently been built there to supply the public's fast growing appetite for DIY brands such as UniBond Sealants and No More Nails.
