Chorley pre-match news
New signing Niall Hudson will be handed his debut for tomorrow's game against Chorley.
Matt K Smith is still struggling with a slight knee problem so Hudson may have to cover the right back slot.

Jamie Hood, Gary White and Liam Hebberd are all out due to suspension, Andy Marlowe, who missed last week's game due to illness is still doubtful and recent signing Mickey Lyons is unavailable due to work commitments.

Andy Simpson looks set to partner captain Matt Smith in the heart of Gresley's defence while Karl Brown may be asked to cover the left back position.

Manager Gary Norton said: "Tomorrow could give people who have not been in the side the chance to stake a claim for a shirt, with Ashley Dodd being a case in point. Gary Browne who has a good background and has scored nine times in the Conference North may also get his chance. He had a quiet debut and struggled when he came on last week. We he came I said we'd give it four or five games to settle in, but he'll be under pressure tomorrow if he comes on."

On trial player Nicky Carter may also get his call up to the first team rather than make an appearance for the reserves.

Carter was Sutton Coldfield's player-of-the-year last season but has not had much football since sustaining a groin injury.

With M K Smith rated as doubtful defender Paul Wardle has been put on standby.

Gresley from: Belford, Matt K Smith, Hudson, Simpson, Matt Smith, Brown, Browne, Barrett, Dodd, Ejiofor, Marlowe, Freestone, O'Connor, Carter, Wardle.
