Shaun Harrad has signed a two year contract with Notts County. Harrad was at Gresley Rovers on loan earlier in the season.
Chairman Mark Evans said: "I'm delighted for Shaun. He's a great lad. When he was at Gresley he fitted in really well and worked hard scoring some important goals for us.

"His attitude was spot on and an example to all our lads.

"We miss him, and we hope he goes on to fulfull his dreams of playing regular first team football for Notts County."

Notts County's youth team forward Shaun Harrad has put pen to paper on a two-year contract with the 19-year-old Harrad has made eight appearances for the first team this season, making his first of the season against Middlesbrough during the 2-0 loss in the FA Cup in January. All his appearances have come from the bench.

The Nottingham-born foward has performed on the right wing for the reserves in the last few weeks, and has clearly impressed boss Gary Mills with his performances.

He also made five appearances from the bench last season, making his debut in a 2-2 draw at Tranmere Rovers, which takes his total to 13 so far.

Assistant manager John Gaunt told Magpies Online: "He has a great attitude and I am delighted for Shaun, he has been tremendous.

"He works hard every training session and he deserves it, and I really am pleased for him. I hope next season that he pushes on and makes his way into the first team on a regular basis."

We are delighted that Shaun had committed his future to Notts County for two years, and wish him every success with the Club.
