Stourport pre-match news
New loan signing Kris Nurse is included in the squad along side Notts County team mate David Kettle for tomorrow's game again Stourport Swifts at the Moat Ground.
Manager Gary Norton is also in talks with a Conference club with the view of bringing in a further two player on loan until the end of the season to strengthen his side and to give Gresley an outside chance of still making the top seven or the eighth place play-off.

Norton describes Nurse as 'a stocky striker with pace' who has been offered a contract by Notts County and is a regular in their reserves playing along side Shaun Harrad.

Norton said: "It will be a tricky game tomorrow. We've played them twice once when we got our first point of the season at their place and then in the League Cup at the Moat Ground, which we won 3-2 and I'm surprised at their recent slide. This game will be a test of character for the lads after Tuesday's defeat.

"To be honest, with Stourport and then our next opponents Cinderford both in the bottom three I'm looking to take maximum points. Our supporters would be rightly disgruntled if we did not take six points from those two games.

"We've got to be at the races or our season could fizzle out like a damp squib. There are 21 points still up for grabs and I want to take as many of those as I can so that there is still a chance of finishing in the top seven."

Defender Jamie Hood is suspended for two games after receiving 10 yellow cards of which 5 were with Bedworth United his previous club. Nathan Jones is ruled out with an ankle injury picked up when playing for Burton Albion's youth team midweek.

Norton could shake things up a bit after becoming what he says "predictable". "We have started to look a bit one dimensional," he said. "We need to start getting the ball a wide and pass it about."
