Bromsgrove pre-match news
Richard Wardle

Richard Wardle looks set to make his 600th appearance for Gresley Rovers in the game against Bromsgrove Rovers.
Manager Gary Norton said: “Richard is as an absolute top bloke who will do what ever is asked of him. After breaking the appearance record last season, this is another tremendous milestone for him.”

Norton will have to decide who to play up front with both his strikers injured. Shaun Harrad dislocated and fractured a finger against Swindon Supermarine and Gresley are in discussion with Notts County to see if they will allow him to play with some sort of protection.

Steve Lenagh is still suffering from a calf injury and is definitely out but Norton is hoping to have the big striker available for Boxing Day.

Liam Hebberd looks set to play with Norton deciding who will partner him up front.

New signing Moussa Sylla, who impressed in a practise match at Tamworth in mid-week, is named in the squad.

Defender Leigh Everitt is set to return after shaking off a thigh injury and Gary White who successfully came through the practise match could also figure.

University student John Branch is also included in the squad.

Gresley from: Belford, Wardle, Everitt, Smith, Cheetham, White, Haynes, Barrett, Slater, Hebberd, Alexander, Holmes, Doughty, Francis, Sylla, Branch.
