Hinckley pre-match news
Defender Danny Haynes is suspended for tomorrow’s FA Trophy game against Hinckley United but fellow defender Andy Cheetham is back after recovering from injury.
Manager Gary Norton is hoping striker Steve Lenagh has shaken off a throat infection that saw him miss the midweek six goal thriller at Gloucester City.

Leon Doughty will be looking forward to the game having joined Gresley from Hinckley in September.

Norton said: “Leon will be the first to admit he hasn’t done himself justice in the last few weeks. When he joined us in September he scored five goals and I know he will be looking forward to the game.

“We know we go into this game as underdogs with Hinckley sitting in second place in the Dr Martens Premier but I believe we are capable of causing an upset.

“We are hoping to be party poopers and there will be no pressure on us as we have nothing to lose.

“I’m hoping they will be a little complacent, but they are not second in the table for nothing.

“This game and the one against Nuneaton Borough a week on Tuesday will provide us with a yardstick and if we perform well against the two sides we will come out with a lot of credit.”

Gresley from: Belford, Wardle. Everitt, Smith, Cheetham, Barrett, Slater, Doughty, Holmes, Lenagh, Harrad, Alexander, Francis, Hebberd, Clarke (gk).
