Shepshed pre-match news
Nathan Tate

Nathan Tate

Young defender Nathan Tate will miss tonight's 1st Rnd of the Dr Martens Cup against Shepshed Dynamo.
Tate will be out of the Gresley line-up for quite a while after dislocating a shoulder at work yesterday.

Gresley manager Gary Norton said: "Nathan has been in good form recently so it's a big blow to us. We don't yet know how long he will be out."

Gary White has recovered from his knee injury and should start in tonight's game.

White has missed the last 5 games after suffering a knee injury against Bedworth United at the end of September.

Norton said: "We will probably start Gary and see how long he lasts. We hope to give him at least 45 minutes as he is raring to get back playing, but we also have to consider the FA Trophy game against Matlock on Saturday. We have some big games coming up, but tonight will be tough despite the fact that we beat them 3-0 a couple of weeks ago.

"We also need to put the Halesowen game behind us, the players know they didn't perform that night."
