Two more on board
Manager Gary Norton has completed the signing of defender Leigh Everitt and midfielder Leon Doughty.
Everitt was a target for former managers John McGinlay and Jon Newsome and Norton is delighted to have got his signature ahead of both Bedworth united and Rugby United.

“I’m absolutely delighted that Leigh has signed for us. He brings us some good quality and experience,” said Norton. “He won the Premier Division with Nuneaton and the Western Division with Stafford and is a proven winner.”

Doughty, who Norton described as a ‘tough tackler’, has been signed from Hinckley United.

“Leon was not getting a look-in at Hinckley and wants to kick-start his career and he’s just the sort of player we’ve been looking for.”

Norton is also looking at former Fulham striker Bruce Lwanda.
