Bromsgrove pre-match news
Manager Gary Norton has tried to bring in a striker ahead of this weekend’s games but to no avail. He been talking to two strikers both from the Unibond Premier Division but could not agree terms with the one and the other has been drafted back into his club’s first team due to injuries.
Norton said: “We’ve been trying to bring someone in and it’s been very frustrating but we will carry on looking.”

Richard Wardle is a major doubt for tomorrow and Monday due to a back injury sustained against Rugby United in midweek.

Nathan Tate has been called into the squad with Norton contemplating playing Gary White in midfield and Jamie Barrett could also make his first start of the season.

On the bench will be young keeper Wayne White who has been playing well in the Reserves. “He’s a big lad and has played well in the Reserves so far. He has a bright future in front of him, said Norton.

“Tomorrow is a big game but I’m looking forward to it. At training I had a word with the back four and they are aware that they’ve not performed in the first two games, but I still have confidence in them. I’m not going to panic because I know they are good players.”

Gresley will be hoping to put the first points on the table this weekend even though their opponents, tomorrow Bromsgrove Rovers and Sutton Coldfield Town on Monday, are both un-beaten in their first two games.
