Clevedon pre-match news
Gresley make their last away visit of the season on Saturday when they make the long trek down to Clevedon Town.
Manager Jon Newsome has asked for a much improved performance for this and the final game against Weston-super-Mare next week.

He described the performance against Sutton Coldfield Town as ‘totally unacceptable’ and he's not prepared to end the current campaign with a whimper.

“We didn’t deserve anything from our last two games,” said Newsome. “We are struggling up front and that’s been our main problem. Chris Gray is our top scorer and if he is not on top of his game we have no-one else who looks like putting the ball in the net.”

Gresley will be without striker Steve Rutter due to work commitments and midfielder Mark Peters’ season has already finished.

Peters is suspended for the next two games after picking up his 10th booking of the season against Evesham.

However, Chris Gray (calf) and defender Andy Cheetham (hamstring) should have recovered from their injuries.

Defender Ian Bluck is to have an operation on his injured knee next week and should be fit to return to action pre-season.

Gresley from: Shiels, Wardle, Evans, White, Cheetham, Hopkins, Barrett, Moran, Gray, Kitching, Alexander, Bourne, Timms, Yearsley, Newsome, Lindley (gk).
