Rovers on brink of title
Story courtesy of Burton Mail
Gresley Rovers can reach the end of an eight-year quest at the Moat Ground tomorrow night.
Victory at Stourport Swifts last night while main title rivals Oldbury and Chasetown could both only draw means that Gresley need just one point from seven games to clinch the Banks’s League title.

The results set the scene for a champagne night at the Moat Ground tomorrow when Rovers’ last challengers – second-placed Oldbury United - are the visitors with Gresley needing only to avoid defeat to clinch the title.
