Elliott gets all clear
Story courtesy of Burton Mail
Gresley Rovers defender Scott Elliott has recovered from an ankle injury in time to take his place in tonight’s line-up for the trip to Darlaston (6.15pm).
And manager Frank Northwood recalls winger Steve Adcock, who has recovered from flu.

Strikers Carl Rathbone (knee) and Kieron Smith (ribs) and keeper Bob Aston (groin) will continue to be missing as Rovers attempt to take another giant stride towards the Banks’s League championship against one of their main title rivals.

The race for the championship has now been reduced to nine sides who are still in with a mathematical chance of winning the league.

Chasetown, 3-0 winners over Pelsall, Ilkeston, 2-1 winners at Paget and second-placed Wednesfield, who beat Tividale 2-1, all kept up the pressure last night.

But Rovers remain in the driving seat with a 12-point lead at the top of the table and five games in hand over Wednesfield.
