Left Gresley to play for Nottingham Forest and went onto play for Grimsby Town, Leicester Fosse and Newton Heath who later became Manchester United.
Won FA Cup with Forest in 1898.
Won Second Division Championship with Grimsby, 1901.
Capped for England on 5th March, 1898 (England won 3-2).
