Good news for Kitch?
Neil Kitching's recent injury worries have been allayed. It now looks as if the striker could be back in action within the next two weeks.
Manager Jon Newsome said: "We think we know what the problem is and it looks like only a short term injury. But we don't want to rush him and make the injury worse although Kitch himself is raring to get back into the action."

Kitching was due to see a specialist yesterday (Friday) and is now awaiting the results.

Another of Gresley's strikers, Chris White, underwent an operation on Thursday to remove a bone splinter from his ankle and to repair some cartilage damage in his knee.

Newsome said: "The operation has gone well but we don't know how long he will be out of action until he has seen the specialist again. He could be back around Christmas."
